Because Your Website Matters. A Lot.
You need to be where your customers are looking. And where they’re looking is online, and particularly on mobile phones. So where should your business be? Exactly.
Your website is now what a shop window was before all this internet nonsense came along. It’s the number one top spot hot banana place that your customers are interacting with your brand.
If your site is not mobile friendly, or out of date, or looks like a thrown-together-on-a-free-builder-special, or if you just use a Facebook page and call that your website, you’re missing out on a big chunk of business.
I’d love to help you through the process of creating something that speaks to your clients with the same passion with which you talk to them in person.
Responsive Design
All my Websites and WebApps are designed to work beautifully on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phones from the outset, so your customers can find you, wherever they are.
This is really important – I’m sure you’ve noticed how much time everyone spends staring at their phones. In fact, Google reckons as many as 50% of web searches – and more than that for local searches – are now done on a mobile device. So you need to be ready for that.
However, “Responsive” is something of a buzzword lately, so should probably be avoided.
What’s a WebApp?
It’s really just another name for a mobile-friendly website, which has features of a “normal” website and others of an app. However, there are differences in design, and there is frequently some extra functionality built it – e.g. you can save it to your phone/tablet just like a “normal” app, but without the need to go through the App Store or Google Play.
It can either replace the need for a “normal” website entirely – they display beautifully on a computer too – or just be the mobile version of the site. This gives you the chance to give your clients something they’ll want to stick on their phones and show their friends. So that’s, as I’m fond of saying, nice.
I build both Websites and WebApps
I’ll help you choose what’s right for your business.
I decided that the best way to describe a web app is to show you – so I built a web app about web apps. There’s a pretty good special offer in there at the moment too. Go and have a look here.
